Hi again, this is my blog post about me flying to Auckland by myself to visit my aunty's for the weekend. Hope you enjoy it.It was Saturday morning and I was packing my bag, ready to board the plane. When we arrived at the airport, I had to put on this wristband and a necklace around my neck to enter the plane. When I scanned my boarding pass I hugged mum and dad goodbye. I was off, to Auckland!
When I arrived at Auckland my aunty's were waiting for me at the airport to pick me up. It was so great to see them because I have not seen them in ages. When got to the car I saw their dog in the boot. Their dogs name is Brook, Brook was meant to be a guide dog, but she didn't want to wear the coat that they had to wear, so she got rejected, then my aunt's adopted her and she turned out to be the best dog ever for them.
At lunch we went to Swashbucklers. Swashbucklers is next to the harbour. When we looked down at the water we saw too big stingrays that were just gliding on the water surface. I had some yummy oysters and a orange juice for lunch.
Have you ever been to a maze? Well we have been to one, and it's called the Odyssey maze. It was so fun. First there was a wobbling maze and a jungle maze and there was even a hard mirror maze the funnest at the end was the noodle pool. It was like a big pool of noodles, and you jump in and it's really soft. After that we had dinner at this food court and I had dumplings. When we got home to aunty's house we watched the women's rugby. In the morning we watched the All blacks rugby and had yummy banana pancakes for breakfast.
In the afternoon we went to this place called Game Over. It was a go kart racing area, it was so fun because I raced two girls and they were so slow, I came first in my race. I love my aunty's so much. They've paid for everything for me and that was so special to me to spend time with them, it's been the funnest weekend i've ever had.
